Miracle Weight Loss Supplement?????

As many of you know, I have mentioned in the past that there is no magic weight-loss solution. I still believe this is true.

We have been aware of this ingredient for many years, but thanks to Dr Oz who touted it as a miracle weight loss supplement on his show back in November 2013, a sudden increase in garcinia products became available on the market. It seems that some of these 'marketers' were selling questionable products and scamming vulnerable consumers.

Garcinia can benefit some people in helping them attain their weight management objectives and indeed some of our customers have got positive results from these other products, but, then others felt uneasy about the quality of the products they were taking and approached us to see if we would produce a Garcinia product.

There is good clinical data to support Garcinia cambogia and its benefits for weight management, but I am certainly not saying that this is a miracle solution. Without changes to diet, lifestyle and levels of exercise, any weight lost will quickly pile back on.

Weight loss needs to be both effective and safe. I find it irresponsible for companies to promote situations where a person has used a product and lost eight kilograms in two weeks. Extreme weight loss is not healthy for the body and can cause stress on organs and cells. Ultimately these hyped up stories cause confusion among many consumers who expect such results, and it also encourages extreme weight loss without paying any regard to its effect on overall health.

Healthy weight management is a step in the right direction toward better health as it can help to lower risk factors for many diseases. However, it is only one piece of the puzzle and needs to be combined with high quality nutritional supplements for maximum benefits on health and wellbeing.
